Aaron Wood said the books promote “the destructive, homosexual lifestyle.” Staff said they can’t make selections based on race, faith, sexuality or gender, and refused to remove, relabel, relocate or otherwise censor the materials. The trustees upheld library staff’s decision in a unanimous vote. “These 4 appeals are just the beginning,” Wood warned, announcing his intentions to challenge more materials and library policy itself.
