During the May Library Board of Trustees Meeting, the conservative Christian group called the “Freedom Fathers” continued their attack against books with LGBTQ themes. They were joined by Douglas County Republican Party chair Steve Peck, who insisted they were just trying to protect young kids from pornography, not book-banning.
